Lewis Hamilton has insisted that he is "pretty relaxed" ahead of this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix despite crashing in practice today.
The world champion aquaplaned in wet conditions at the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit, crashing his Mercedes into the barrier after setting the fastest time in P2.
The Briton told reporters after the session: "It has still been a good day so I am pretty relaxed. It wasn't my call to go out [in the wet], not necessarily. We collectively don't think it was the best call to go out, but at the end of the day it didn't affect our running.
"The car is feeling good out there, really good. Ferrari have picked up the pace with their engine which will be interesting to see tomorrow. I think we are still in good form.
"I feel good this weekend and I feel good with the car, very much the same as the last race. And also the long runs."
Hamilton has won the Canadian Grand Prix three times since making his Formula 1 debut in 2007.
