Lewis Hamilton has secured back-to-back victories in this year's Formula 1 Championship by winning the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday, despite a bad start.
The Brit was involved in a tense strategic battle with Sebastian Vettel's revived Ferrari, which looked in control of the race after vaulting into the lead from third on the grid with a blistering start.
Ferrari, however, surrendered the lead by pitting during a caution period, and Hamilton - doing one pit stop to Vettel's two - soon took charge of the race.
The 31-year-old, who won the Monaco Grand Prix a fortnight ago, cut his title deficit to Nico Rosberg, who ended fifth at Montreal's Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, to nine points.
Vettel finished second in the race, while Valtteri Bottas sealed a surprise podium for Williams and teenage Spanish GP winner Max Verstappen ended in fourth place.
