Lewis Hamilton has said that he felt like he was "sailing" during the Japanese Grand Prix.
The World Championship leader won the race by 18 seconds and praised the Mercedes technical team.
"It was such an amazing race," Hamilton told reporters.
"This has been a circuit that I've always struggled when I've come here. The whole crew have done a great job to get the car the way we wanted and I was really able to work on my lines and improve.
"It's like sailing - it's beautiful when you go through the corners here, it's so flowing."
The win extends Hamilton's lead over teammate Nico Rosberg to 49 points.
