Ross Brawn has reportedly decided to leave his position as Mercedes team principal when the season comes to a close.
Talks between Brawn and the Formula 1 team have been going on for some time, but the 58-year-old tried to calm talks of an exit earlier this month.
However, Brawn and Mercedes have failed to reach an agreement over a role, resulting in his departure, according to BBC Sport.
Reports have claimed that executive directors Toto Wolff and Paddy Lowe will run the team alongside non-executive chairman Niki Lauda.
