Former Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton has been involved in a crash on day one of pre-season testing in Jerez.
The Mercedes driver slammed into a barrier at Turn One on the track in Southern Spain.
However, the 29-year-old Brit was able to exit his car without any notable injuries.
It is believed that Hamilton suffered a front-wing failure.
The 2014 Formula 1 season gets underway with the Australian Grand Prix on the weekend of March 14.
