Red Bull taking nothing for granted

Team principal Christian Horner insists that Red Bull will not be resting on their laurels during the 2012 season.

Team principal Christian Horner has insisted that it would be "foolish" to believe that Red Bull will enjoy the same dominance next year as they did in 2011.

Horner's outfit have established themselves as the team to beat in recent seasons, claiming both the drivers' and constructors' titles in each of the past two seasons.

Despite their success, Horner remains wary of a fightback from other teams in 2012.

"It never gets easier, that's for sure," said Horner. "It would be foolish to underestimate the likes of Ferrari. They are a phenomenal team with tremendous pedigree, or the likes of McLaren and Mercedes Benz.

"We are not foolish or arrogant enough to think that this kind of performance is normal. It's abnormal and it takes a superhuman effort to try and achieve.

"Our competitors are going to be pushing hard over the winter. To do it once they can probably tolerate, but to do it twice probably upsets a little."

Red Bull's latest victory came during the Korean Grand Prix on Sunday when champion Sebastian Vettel won his tenth race of the campaign.
