Nico Rosberg has declared himself pleased with the recent introduction of new rules to limit the use of the team radio during Formula 1 races.

The FIA has confirmed that messages about the performance of the car or individual can no longer be delivered to the driver, and Rosberg believes that the rule will produce more entertaining races.

"I think can make it a lot more interesting also because it used to be like 100% communication a while ago, now they're only allowed to tell me like 20% of stuff now. So it's a massive change," the German told members of the media.

"It's up to us to make sure that we get to the end of the race with the fuel. It's up to us to make sure we're battling individually with our boost positions and things like that."

Rosberg continues his battle with Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton at this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix.
