Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel has insisted that he does not find it easy to beat all the competition in Formula 1, despite winning his fourth consecutive world championship a fortnight ago.
Vettel said that the word domination suggests he does not have to try, but he revealed that he puts in 100% during every minute in the car.
"People tend to call it domination, but I don't like the word because it makes things sounds easy," The Telegraph quotes Vettel as saying. "If you look back at every single race it has been hard work for every minute.
"There have been times when we've achieved great results by finishing on the podium on days when we shouldn't have. Of course, it's a long season and you need to make sure you achieve 100%.
"If you are completely honest you can't do that all the time, but you can get close, and when you look back that feels great."
Vettel is the third driver, behind Michael Schumacher and Juan Manuel Fangio, to win four straight titles.
