Red Bull racer Mark Webber has weighed into the tyre debate by insisting that nobody is comfortable with the current Pirelli model.
Team owner Dietrich Mateschitz recently claimed that F1 was "not racing anymore" as the quality of the cars was reduced due to the need to manage the fast-wearing Pirelli tyres.
Webber admitted that he is not a fan of the path that Formula 1 seems to be going down.
"I don't think there is anyone who is comfortable with these tyres," Webber told BBC Sport. "Ferrari have had a couple of good results, which is great.
"I think in general whether you talk about whether the tyres should be changed now or later, that's another scenario.
"But in terms of whether we have cars racing each other, racing hard and racing for position, constantly pressuring each other in that format - compared to a bit more entertainment, let's say - I think we need to continue to fine-tune things."
The Monaco Grand Prix takes place on Sunday.
