Max Verstappen has suggested that he will not try to let the heat at Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix get to him.
The Dutchman was forced to retire from a points-scoring position at last week's Australian Grand Prix following a good performance on his Formula 1 debut.
Despite plenty of talk about the heat of Sepang, Verstappen has claimed that he will try to adjust to it.
He told reporters: "Many racers complain about the heat and look for ways to cool off but I feel that adapting to it is the key.
"I try not to let the heat get to me, even when I am melting in my race gear."
Verstappen became the youngest driver in F1 history when he started the Australian GP.
