Daniel Ricciardo has talked up a future move to Red Bull after two points finishes for Toro Rosso this season.
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner revealed that he had been impressed with Ricciardo after his seventh place in China, and with Mark Webber yet to agree a new deal, the Australian has revealed that he feels "ready" if he were offered the opportunity to partner Sebastian Vettel.
The 23-year-old told the official Formula 1 website: "I am ready. But I also don't want to jump into things. Right now I am with Toro Rosso and will do my best here. Should there be any knocking, I am ready.
"I will open the door - and probably offer them a Red Bull - and start talking."
Ricciardo finished in 18th position in the first practice session for this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.
