Toro Rosso boss Franz Tost has suggested that teenager Max Verstappen is capable of winning races and world titles with the right car.
Verstappen became the youngest racer in Formula 1 earlier this year and has scored points in his maiden campaign.
However, Tost has claimed that the 17-year-old can achieve more in the sport, but is adamant that Verstappen needs one more year with the Red Bull sister team.
He told De Telegraaf: "If Max had a good car at his disposal, one with a good engine, of course he could fight for victories and titles.
"Preferably with Red Bull, but I think at this stage of his career the wisest thing would be that he stays with us for another year."
Toro Rosso are currently seventh in the constructors' championship.
