English pro Lee Westwood believes that the course at Royal Lytham and St. Anne's will prove to be his biggest challenge this season.
While the 39-year-old former world champion believes that he could struggle this year, he is confident that he has an advantage over his opponents following a practice session on the court last night.
"I played the golf course last night which was a genius move - nice weather, no-one out," said Westwood. "It's going to be a tough test as Lytham always is.
"It's one of the toughest tests I've played on for an Open Championship. I've got the game for most places, that's why I've done well in majors."
Westwood came in second and third in two of the last three Open Championships.
