Luke Donald saw his slim Masters hopes end on Sunday, despite recording his best round of the tournament.
The world number one posted a four-under-par 68 at Augusta National on the final day, but ended on three-over overall.
The Englishman played arguably his best golf of the last four days as he made birdie on three holes of the front nine.
A bogey followed on 13th, but Donald then turned on the style with a birdie on 12 and an eagle on 15.
However, his campaign ended disappointingly as a bogey on 16 saw him slip to four-under, where he stayed for the final two holes.
