The Masters' competition committee have insisted that conditions should be fine for the start of play tomorrow.
Bad weather overnight had forced debris to be removed from a number of holes at the Augusta National course in Georgia.
"Clearly the golf course will not be as firm and fast as it would otherwise be," said chairman of the committee, Fred Ridley. "We are very confident that we will have comparable tournament-speed greens."
Tiger Woods has been widely tipped as the favourite to win the tournament.
