Tiger Woods's agent has revealed that the 14-time Major champion has not yet ruled himself out of this week's USPGA Championship.
The 38-year-old remains a major doubt for the competition after withdrawing from the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational through a back injury on the weekend.
However, his agent Mark Steinberg said last night that a decision regarding the American's participation in upcoming events will not likely be made until Wednesday.
"Way too early," Sky Sports News quotes Steinberg as saying. "He has to rest and get treatment and then assess later. "It's pointless to make that decision now without proper time to give him best chance. Nothing further today, maybe [not] even tomorrow (Tuesday)."
The USPGA gets underway in Kentucky on Thursday.
