Luke Donald has put his historic European and PGA Tour title victories down to "hard work".
The world number one secured the double earlier today by finishing third at the Dubai World Championship.
"[The double] is something that I really didn't think was possible," Donald told Sky Sports News.
"I played extremely solid and consistent golf all year and won four times.
"It is a testament to my hard work and it is nice to see it pay off."
The 34-year-old has never failed to make the cut at a European Tour event.
