Tommy Fleetwood hit a round of 63 to share the lead at the end of day two of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews.
The Englishman was joined on 12-under par by Northern Ireland's Michael Hoey.
Former Open champion Louis Oosthuizen is one shot further back, while Graeme McDowell is third with five others.
Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy are both on seven-under, but a disastrous final few holes for world number one Luke Donald have left him on four-under.
