Sergio Garcia has moved two shots clear of the field ahead of the final round of The Barclays tournament in Farmingdale.
The Spaniard, who triumphed at last week's Wyndham Championship, carded a two-under-par round of 69 to edge two clear of halfway leader Nick Watney.
Kevin Stadler is a shot further back after shooting a 65 - the lowest round of the day.
Garcia's victory last weekend meant that he has already secured his place on the team for next month's Ryder Cup.
