Sergio Garcia has gained a two-shot lead after day two of the Castello Masters in Spain.
The Spaniard, who was club champion when he was 12, carded a second round 63 to end the day on 12-under par.
Sweden's Alex Noren also posted a score of 63 to finish on ten-under.
Overnight leader Ross McGowan fired a score of 70 to give him a share of third on eight-under.
Elsewhere, Tom Lewis, who won last week's Portugal Masters, withdrew from the tournament after he was struck down with a virus.
