South Africa's Richard Sterne has taken the clubhouse lead, along with German professional Maximilion Kieffer, after round one of the Joburg Open.
Sterne finished the round with six birdies to his name and a chip-in eagle at the ninth hole, keeping him at the top of the leaderboard with an eight-under 63.
Kieffer matched the South African's score by completing the opening round bogey-free with eight birdies heading into tomorrow.
Bryce Easton sits just one shot behind the pair after round one, while Englishman David Horsey resides three shots off the pace after carding 66 in Johannesburg.
