Tiger Woods has regained a place in the top 150 of the World Golf Rankings after impressing at last week's Valspar Championship.

The 14-time Major winner is attempting to get himself ready for The Masters - which takes place at Augusta in April - and the former world number one took another step closer towards rediscovering his best form in his fourth outing of the season.

Woods had been in contention to claim victory in Florida after beginning the final day of the tournament just one shot off the lead, but the American's fourth-round score of 70 was not enough to top the leaderboard.

However, despite England's Paul Casey claiming the win, Woods was delighted with a share of second position, which sees him move from 389th to 149th in the rankings.

Woods is currently scheduled to compete at this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational before turning his focus to the first Major of the year.
