Bo Van Pelt put himself in contention to win his second title in as many weeks after he hit a third-round 62 to share the lead at the CIMB Classic.
The American sealed victory at the Perth International last week and he hit 10 birdies to finish the third round level with Robert Garrigus on 16-under-par.
Garrigus followed up consecutive rounds of 64 with a two-under-par 69, while Chris Kirk moved eight places up the leaderboard to finish one behind the two pacesetters.
Zimbabwe's Brendan de Jonge and South Africa's Jbe Kruger shared fourth on 14-under-par, while Tiger Woods will begin the final round in Kuala Lumpar five shots off the lead after a round of 69.
