Bo Van Pelt shot a final-round 64 to win the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic in Malaysia on Sunday.
The 36-year-old finished the tournament 23-under-par, six shots clear of closest rival Jeff Overton, with Sweden's Fredrik Jacobson one shot further back.
Van Pelt birdied the 11th, 12th and 13th to move clear of the field, after he went into the day leading by only one shot.
Further birdies at the 15th and 17th extended his lead and the American secured a deserved victory in the last round.
"I played well all day, didn't make any bogeys and tried to stick with my gameplan," said Van Pelt.
The victory was Van Pelt's second win on the PGA tour following his victory at the
U.S. Bank Championship in 2009.
