Tiger Woods has missed the cut by four shots on his return from a three-month injury layoff at the Quicken Loans National.
The 38-year-old finished on seven-over-par after rounds of 74 and 75, as he failed to make it through to the weekend at the Congressional.
Woods, who hit four straight bogeys on the back nine, had not played since March 9 because of a back injury and underwent surgery on March 31.
It is only the 10th time in his career that he has missed a 36-hole cut on the PGA Tour and the 11th time overall.
Marc Leishman, Oliver Goss, Ricky Barnes and Patrick Reed are tied for the lead on six-under-par at the halfway stage.
