Jeev Milkha Singh claimed his fourth European Tour title this afternoon by coming out on top at the Scottish Open.
The 40-year-old required a playoff to defeat Italy's Francesco Molinari after the pair had finished the four rounds on 17 under.
It had looked as though Marc Warren was going to capture the title in his homeland when he held a three-shot advantage. However, during the last four holes, Warren proceeded to surrender his lead and in turn let Milkha Singh and Molinari take the initiative.
With nothing to separate the duo during the permitted 72 holes, Milkha Singh birdied the first extra hole to take the £470,000 prize.
His victory has also seen him take the last qualifying place for next week's Open at Lytham.
