Jiyai Shin has clinched her second women's British Open thanks to a nine-shot victory at Hoylake.
The South Korean braved fierce winds to card a one-over-par 73 and end the tournament on nine-under overall.
The 24-year-old's nearest opponent was fellow countrywoman Inbee Park, who finished on even-par.
"It was a long, long, very tough day and I just focused on each single shot," said Shin.
The world number 10's previous success at the British Open came at Sunningdale in 2008.
