Former world number one Tiger Woods has taken the blame for the USA's recent defeats at the Ryder Cup.
In the seven events that Woods has competed in since his debut back in 1997, the Americans have suffered five defeats to their European counterparts.
Discussing that statistic, Woods has conceded that he should be held accountable.
"I certainly am responsible for that because I didn't earn the points I was put out there to earn. I need to go and get my points for my team and I didn't do that," he told reporters.
Woods has won 14 points during his seven outings at the tournament.
