Welshman Jamie Donaldson claimed victory at the Czech Masters this afternoon to guarantee his place on Europe's Ryder Cup team for next month's event at Gleneagles.
The 38-year-old needed a top-seven finish at the Albatross Golf Resort in Prague and made his chance count by shooting a final-round 68 to finish on 14-under-par for the tournament, two clear of overnight leader and compatriot Bradley Dredge.
Soren Kjeldsen of Denmark and Merrick Bremner of South Africa finished in a tie for third place on 11-under.
It is a third win on the European Tour for Donaldson, who now joins Rory McIlroy, Henrik Stenson, Sergio Garcia, Victor Dubuisson, Justin Rose, Martin Kaymer and Thomas Bjorn on Team Europe.
There is one more automatic qualification spot to contend for, with captain Paul McGinley allowed to handpick the other three members who will complete the 12-man team.
