Chad Campbell fired a nine-under round to take the lead after the second day of the Canadian Open.
The American started the day well poised on five-under and quickly found his rhythm on the course with a birdie on the second hole, while three further birdies followed on the front nine.
Campbell continued his impressive display with five birdies on the back nine to pull into a two-shot lead on 14-under for the tournament.
Compatriot Brian Harman is two shots off the pace following a five-under round as he fired seven birdies, although bogeys on the sixth and 15th held back his charge to challenge for the lead.
Canada's David Hearn and America's Johnson Wagner are also in contention after carding rounds of eight-under and six-under respectively, while Michael Putnam recorded a round of eight-under to move up 60 places into tied-ninth.
