Nicolas Colsaerts has overtaken Alexander Levy at the top of the BMW Masters leaderboard in Shanghai following a second-round 64.
The Belgian is 14-under overall after hitting nine birdies and suffering just one blemish on his round with a bogey on the fifth hole.
Levy, who led the way on Thursday, has dropped one shot behind after a six-under round at the Lake Malaren Golf Club.
Romain Wattel remains in contention heading into the weekend as he sits on 11-under, while Graeme McDowell has dropped six shots off the pace after hitting two bogeys on the back nine.
Justin Rose moved up the leaderboard, despite dropping a shot on the 15th, after hitting six birdies and an eagle on the seventh to put himself seven shots off the top.
