Erik Compton and Jason Day are tied for the lead after a rain-affected third day at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans.
Compton managed to fire four birdies in his six holes of the day to move to 13-under par for the competition, after starting his round two shots off the pace.
Day played just three holes and recorded one birdie to join Compton in first place as darkness brought a premature end to the third round of the tournament.
Justin Rose, Blayne Barber, Jerry Kelly and David Hearn are all one shot off the pace, with Hearn recording the performance of the day with a five-under round through 11 holes to move into contention.
Play is expected to resume in the third round at 1.30pm BST (7.30am CT).
