Luke Donald has established a two-shot lead at the midway point of the Nedbank Golf Challenge in Sun City.
After an opening-day 71, the former world number one returned on Friday to hit nine birdies during his first 14 holes before eventually recording a round of 63.
Earlier in the day, Donald's round had been interrupted by a baboon who had managed to find his way onto the 13th fairway.
First-round leader Ross Fisher has dropped down to second place after shooting 70, while Alexander Levy and Danny Willett remain in contention in third and fourth respectively.
The big mover of the day was England's Tommy Fleetwood, who moved 16 places up the leaderboard to end the day in sixth after a round of 67.
