American Russell Henley holds a one-shot lead after the first round of the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Kapalua.
Henley got off to an excellent start in the round as he birdied five out of the first seven holes, and he managed to maintain his solid form throughout the day to card a further three birdies and shoot a 65-shot round of eight-under.
South Korea's Sang-Moon Bae had a better opening nine holes than Henley as he was poised on 30 at the turn, but a dropped shot at the 11th hole cost him a place in the lead after the first round.
Henley's compatriots Scott Stallings, Robert Streb, Ben Martin, Patrick Reed and Jimmy Walker finished the day in tied-third place on six-under.
