Mark Hensby and Korea's Whee Kim are joint leaders at the halfway mark of the Barbasol Championship in Alabama.
The Australian started with birdies at the sixth, eighth and ninth holes to reach the turn in 32.
Hensby then picked up a further shot at 11 before consecutive birdies at 14, 15 and 16 saw him move to the top of the leaderboard alongside Kim, who dropped only one stroke in a round of 66.
First-round leader Sam Saunders is one shot behind after he could only muster a one-under-par 70 at the RTJ Trail course.
Nine players are tied for sixth place, including Glen Day, who sunk eight birdies on his way to a round 63.
