Matt Kuchar has recorded his second successive round of 66 to move to the top of the leaderboard at the Memorial Tournament.
The world number 18 hit seven birdies and dropped just one shot as he secured a share of the lead alongside compatriot Brendan Steele.
The pair are one shot ahead of Emiliano Grillo and Gary Woodland while a group of four players - including first-round leader Dustin Johnson - sit three shots off the lead in a share of fifth place.
World number one Jason Day is 12th after a disappointing round of 71, where he is joined by Rory McIlroy who bounced back from a poor first round to shoot a score of 66.
Jordan Spieth lies a shot further adrift of his two main rivals in a tie for 22nd position.
