Soomin Lee has completed his second round at the Shenzhen International with a three-shot advantage but the majority of the field are yet to reach the clubhouse after bad weather caused delays on Friday.
The world number 128 held a share of the lead after the opening day's play but he has moved ahead on his own after recording seven birdies at the China-based course during his second round.
Joost Luiten currently sits in second spot after producing a round of 66 while Irishman Paul Dunne shares third position with South Africa's Brandon Stone.
Lee Slattery and Alexander Levy sit in a tie for fifth position - seven shots off the lead - but they were only through the early stages of their round before play was called off for the day.
