Thorbjorn Olesen has edged ahead of his competitors with a one-shot lead at the halfway stage of the Mauritius Open.
The Dane shared the lead with Wang Jeunghun and Carlos Pigem after the first round, but he moved away from the pack on Friday.
Despite scoring bogeys on the first and third holes, Olesen recovered in impressive fashion with six birdies to card a second-round 68, putting him nine-under for the tournament.
Wang and Pigem both slipped to tied sixth following five-bogey and four-bogey rounds respectively, while Pelle Edberg stormed up the leaderboard with an impressive eagle on the seventh hole.
Edberg sits one shot behind Olesen, while Thomas Aiken, Dean Burmester and Englishman Matthew Fitzpatrick, who carded six birdies, all sit seven-under-par.
