Eduardo de la Riva and Renato Paratore both shot a seven-under-par 65 to earn a share of the lead after day one of the D + D Real Czech Masters.
Italian Paratore looked poised to earn a solitary advantage heading into the Friday session in Prague, but his Spanish counterpart sunk an eagle at the 18th to join him at the summit.
English duo Matthew Fitzpatrick and Sam Hutsby are two men in a four-way tie for second on six-under, along with Pelle Edberg and Thomas Pieters.
Meanwhile, no fewer than eight players sit level on five-under, with Britons Mark Foster, Scott Jamieson and Michael Hoey among them.
This is only the second year that the competition has taken place, with Welshman Jamie Donaldson winning the inaugural tournament last year.
