Ryan Moore has carded a six-under-par 65 to take a one-shot lead into the final round of the John Deere Classic in Illinois.
The American managed to complete his round despite the bad weather and fading light at a wet TPC Deere Run to avoid having to emerge early for Sunday's final session.
A third 65 round in succession for Moore, which included six birdies and not a single dropped shot on his latest outing, helped him to overtake midway-point leader Wesley Bryan at the top of the standings.
A spirited charge by compatriots Ben Martin and Morgan Hoffmann, both scoring nine-under-par 62s, lifted the pair into a tie for second place, while Johnson Wagner is in fourth on 14-under for the tournament.
Martin looked on course to take top spot when starting his round with five-straight birdies and doing likewise on four of the last five holes, but Moore did just about enough to take the outright lead heading into the final round.
