Peter Uihlein has ended the first round of the Perth International with a one-shot lead after carding a seven-under-par 65.
The American, who recently returned to action from a wrist injury, suffered a bogey on the first hole, but more than made up for it by shooting six birdies and an eagle on the ninth.
Romain Wattel and Shiv Kapur are not far behind the leader as they are one shot off the pace after carding first-round 66s.
Wattel suffered back-to-back bogeys on the fifth and sixth holes, but eight birdies has kept him in contention.
Rhein Gibson is five-under-par, while eight players in the field sit three shots off the lead.
