Bernd Wiesberger has recorded a second successive round of 66 to open up a one-shot lead at the KLM Open.
The world number 63 began the day in second place but as first-round leader Ben Evans dropped down to fifth, the Austrian capitalised to lead the field heading into the weekend.
Joost Luiten, Mark Foster and Nino Bertasio are all one shot adrift in a tie for second place, while Tommy Fleetwood and Alejandro Canizares join Evans in fifth.
England's Daniel Gavins - who at 1,303 is one of the lowest-ranked players in the tournament - has entered the top 10 after a round of 65, while Ross Fisher is also in contention after moving into a share of 13th position.
Chris Wood - who will represent Europe at the Ryder Cup later this month - currently sits in 44th spot.
