American golfer Billy Horschel has slammed organisers for hosting the US Open at Chambers Bay in Washington after numerous players encountered problems with the greens.
Jordan Spieth claimed his second major title of the year by sealing a one-shot victory on Sunday, but a big talking point was the condition of the course.
After the final round, Horschel told reporters: "I think a lot of players, and I'm one of them, have lost some respect for the USGA and this championship this year for the greens.
"And not only the greens, but one of the biggest issues I have is for the fans. I feel like the fans got robbed this week being able to get up close to the players and see the shots we hit and see the course to the degree that we see it."
The 28-year-old finished tied-25th for the tournament.
