Lee Westwood has said that he is full of confidence ahead of next week's second major of the year at the Olympic Club, San Francisco.
The Englishman warmed up for the US Open in perfect fashion by winning the Nordea Masters by five shots yesterday.
He now heads to California and admits he is feeling good, revealing: "I'll tee off on Thursday with a lot of confidence."
World number three Westwood will play the opening two rounds at the Olympic Club alongside the two men ahead of him in the world rankings, Luke Donald and defending champion Rory McIlroy.
