Rickie Fowler has claimed that the USA are fully prepared for the fight that awaits them at the Ryder Cup this week.
The 25-year-old was not involved when the Americans blew a 10-6 lead on the final day at Medinah two years ago, but he insists that he has no doubt about what it takes to taste success in the event.
"I'm not walking around with big eyes or anything," Fowler told reporters. "I have earned my way into the team and have been playing well this year.
"I feel great with the guys we have on the team, and we are looking forward to the challenge.
"We are not going to lay down and nor should we. We are all really looking forward to it."
Fowler became the USA's youngest ever Ryder Cup player at Celtic Manor in 2010.
