Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade continued to make history for her nation with stellar vault and uneven bars performances at the World Championships in Japan.
The 22-year-old followed up her Olympic gold on vault by becoming world champion on the same piece of apparatus on Saturday, posting an average of 14.966 after two routines to storm to the gold medal.
Andrade followed up her vault crown with another strong showing on uneven bars - nailing her full-twisting double back somersault dismount - but she had to settle for silver with 14.633 as China's Xiaoyuan Wei outgunned her on difficulty and execution to post 14.733.
Russia's Angelina Melnikova - who became world champion in the All-Around final earlier this week - took the bronze on vault with 13.966 but missed out on a medal on the uneven bars, finishing in fourth place.
There were no British representatives in the two women's finals on Saturday, with vault silver going to Italy's Asia D'Amato as China's Rui Luo finished third on bars.
