Rhythmic gymnastics chief Natalia Kuzmina admits that she is "very happy" for the judges' course scandal to be over.

International Gymnastics Federation Rhythmic Gymnastics Technical Committee president Natalia Kuzmina has expressed her joy that 'justice has prevailed' following the judges' course scandal.

FIG vice-president Michel Leglise has been suspended until the end of August following allegations of 'irregularities' in the results given to competitors via the International Judges' Course in Bucharest, Romania in December 2012.

Originally, Leglise started proceedings against the Technical Committee, whose sanction and suspension was overturned by the Court of Arbitration for Sport in April this year.

Kuzmina played a role in having Leglise investigated as he ran the course which was dominated by the allegations.

"I am satisfied as we were able to defend our honesty," Kuzmina told insidethegames. "I am happy to come back to work and cooperate with all bodies at the FIG.

"I am very happy that justice prevailed in this case. For me and the other members of the Technical Committee the story is now over and we are very much looking to the future."

The World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships will get underway in Turkey this week.
