Team Scotland gymnast Emma White has admitted that the support from the crowd inspired her to earn the highest score in this evening's all-around final subdivision one at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
The 24-year-old scored an overall total of 51.532 for her performances on floor, vault, uneven bars and beam in the Hydro.
White will discover if she has grabbed a spot on the podium after the subdivision two gymnasts, including England's Ruby Harrold, Claudia Fragapane and Hannah Whelan, complete their four rotations tonight.
"I am extremely pleased with how I did today," White told Sports Mole. "I really was [enjoying myself], I've worked so hard to be here, so I thought I'd enjoy it - it's the best way.
"The crowd are amazing! I keep saying this, but I don't think I could have done so well without the crowd. They've really helped me."
Earlier this afternoon, England's Max Whitlock won gold in the men's all-around final.
