Great Britain's Max Whitlock has won his second gold of the day with success on the pommel horse in Rio.
Whitlock had already made history a little over an hour before by becoming his country's first Olympic gymnastics champion with a surprise gold on the floor, and he followed that up by beating teammate Louis Smith in his favoured event.
The 23-year-old became a double Olympic champion with a score of 15.966 after an almost-flawless display with the penultimate routine of the competition.
Smith had earlier recorded a score of 15.833, which proved to be good enough for a second consecutive Olympic silver and his fourth Olympic medal overall.
USA's Alexander Naddour made up the medals with bronze, finishing just ahead of France's Cyril Tommasone.
