France have won Olympic gold in men's handball with a narrow 22-21 victory over Sweden in the final on Sunday.
France were the dominant side right from the start, and went into half-time 10-8 in the lead.
Sweden bounced back in the second session, and Johan Jakobsson scored on a penalty to make it 22-21 with one minute to go.
However, France held on to garner the victory to win their second successive Olympic gold in the event.
As for Sweden, they have now won fourth Olympic silver medal in handball.
